about

We wrote this song about being forgotten by a close friend. This song takes place during a meeting where the old friend wants to take advantage of you, approaching it like a favour for a friend where in fact the old friend is just taking advantage completely.

lyrics

What do I owe,
This unexpected pleasure,
Is there something you want to say?

You’re so naive to think that I can’t see,
Your fading smiles,
Don’t waste your time.

So close for so long,
Is it that easy,
To forget about me,
Can’t you see,
What it does to me?

So you think you are the one?
But all you know,
Is how to step over me.
Many times you were so wrong,
You walk away
And everything is fine,
No.
You were so wrong,
Is there something you need to say?

Your eyes are red,
I know you’ve not been sleeping,
And I can tell you’ve been troubled.

Do you want to use,
And take advantage of me?
It’s why I’m here!
We’re so through.

So close for so long,
Is it that easy,
To forget about me,
Can’t you see,
What it does to me?

So you think you are the one?
But all you know,
Is how to step over me.
Many times you were so wrong,
You walk away
And everything is fine,
No.
You were so wrong,
Is there something you need to say?

So you think you are the one?
But all you know,
Is how to step over me.
Many times you were so wrong,
You walk away
And everything is fine,
No.
You were so wrong,
Is there something you need to say?
